Joe Lipka will have an exhibit, After the
Memories, at the Page Walker Arts and History
Center from September 6 through October 8.
There will be a gallery talk on October 5. This
project is the latest chapter in the ongoing
Academy Street photographs. The exhibit
illustrates changes on Academy street using
pairs of Joe's photographs over the past thirty
years, as well as historic images from the Town

These members of The Focus photography collective, have an exhibition at 311 Gallery, 311 W. Martin, Raleigh, running September 30 through October 27. The title of the show is The Focus…on The Road Less Traveled. The road less traveled is both a literal and metaphorical byway traversed over land or via the power of thought. Far removed from interstates and mainstream social norms, it may lead us to images of non-conformity and independent thinking, uncommon perspectives, the natural beauty and remoteness of hinterlands, or the crumbling remains of days gone by.
